The French fries production line is a complex system involving multiple links and equipment. From raw material processing to finished product packaging, each link requires special equipment to complete. The following is a detailed introduction to the French fries production line, including the main equipment and process flow:

 

I. Main equipment

The main equipment of the French fries production line includes but is not limited to:

 

Elevator: used to lift potatoes from the raw material area to the cleaning and peeling machine, reducing the labor intensity of workers and realizing continuous work.

Cleaning and peeling machine: using advanced brush principle to clean and peel the potato skin. The cleaning and peeling cabin uses spiral blades to propel, realizing automatic continuous cleaning and peeling.

Pick-up line: after cleaning and peeling, the materials that are defective or incompletely peeled are manually picked while being transported to the next process through the mesh belt drive to keep the workshop floor clean and tidy.

Strip cutter: cuts potatoes into uniform strips, the size of the strips can be adjusted to ensure a high yield rate and a smooth and non-rough cut surface.

Rinsing machine: washes the cut potato strips, removes impurities on the surface, and ensures that the potato strips are clean and hygienic.

Blanching machine: blanch the potato strips to protect the color and kill some bacteria.

Cooling line/air drying line: cool the potato strips and dry the surface moisture through the high-pressure wind of the fan to prevent oil jumping during frying and shorten the frying time.

Vibrating screen: screen waste or potato strips of non-standard size, further remove surface moisture, and ensure the quality of potato strips entering the frying line.

Frying line: made of stainless steel, strong and durable, free to control temperature. Equipped with a fully automatic oil filter to remove slag, ensure the oil is clean and the fried French fries are bright in color.

De-oiling line: the fried potato strips are quickly cooled and the surface oil is removed through the de-oiling line, making the French fries taste better and convenient for storage.

Vibrating screening machine: screen unqualified finished products again to remove most of the oil.

Quick freezing line: the screened French fries are quickly frozen to ensure that the center temperature of the French fries quickly reaches -18°C to reduce the loss of nutrients.

Packaging machine: The fully automatic packaging machine completes the entire process of feeding, bag making, filling, bag making, date printing, counting, and finished product output, saving manpower and material resources.
